Church Groups

We would like to invite anyone who would care to come play bridge on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  We typically play until 2:30 p.m. Bring your lunch and enjoy the fellowship.  We each contribute $1.  Funds collected are used for church projects.

Monthly gathering for friendship, food, and fun geared towards our retired population on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 11:30am-1pm. Activities will include luncheons, speakers, activities, and field trips.

The Prayer Quilt group meets monthly on the first Monday of the month.  We meet from 6pm to 9pm.  We have fun at our “work time”.  We invite young, old, men, women, sewers and non-sewers. We will teach you a variety of quilting skills and hope you will consider coming to our prayer quilt party!

A quilt is made for a person in need or crisis and then placed outside our sanctuary. As each attendee of the service leaves the church, he or she is invited to tie a knot in the quilt and say a prayer for the person. We pray for health issues, comfort issues, and for difficult times. The number of prayers that are sent forth for each person is powerful.

PWCC meets for breakfast regularly on the fourth Saturday of each month from 9-11am.  PWCC’s purpose is to strengthen the community of women in the congregation and to work in conjunction with the Presbyterian Women at the local, regional and national levels.  We would love to have you join us for fellowship, mission, study and fun!
