Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How large is your church?

A: Covenant Presbyterian DTC is a small but vibrant congregation with a wide variety of ages. We average about 100 people here on a Sunday.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Any clothes you may have! Please wear whatever is comfortable for you. Some wear shorts and some wear suits but the decision is totally yours to make.

Q: Does your church support those who are LGBTQIA+?

A: We do! In our faith, and because of our faith, we encourage and love those in the LGBTQIA+ community. We recognize that the "Church" has done plenty of harm and made plenty of mistakes with those who hold those identities. At Covenant you'll find a church accepting  and loving you for who you are and who God has made you to be.

Q: What is there for my kids?

A: We have an active children's and a youth ministry. You can find more information HERE about our Family Ministry!

Q: Does Covenant particpate in community service?

A: Absolutely! We run a large food bank out of our church known as the Covenant Cupboard. We also run a social service called the Village Resource Center that assists those who are in tough financial spots to help pay rent. For more information about all of these services you can check out our Community Partners & Missions page HERE!

Q: What is the PCUSA?

A: The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is a branch of the wider presbyterian church that holds unique beliefs and governance. If you'd like to find out more about the PCUSA including their history, theology, and where they stand on social issues you can visit the PCUSA Website to find out more.

Q: Are women able to be a part of leadership?

A: Yes, in the PCUSA denomination women serve as ordained pastors, elders, and deacons. We support the full equality of all people and we believe that from listening to the diverse voices and experiences of the members of our congregation, we learn more about the beauty and diversity of God.
